Ergolift - Reel Manipulator – manual
The Hovmand reel manipulator is the easy way to clamp, lift and rotate reels. A minilift with reel manipulator takes the reels directly from the pallet. The reel is lifted, rotated and fitted onto the packing line without manual handling.
The expanding boom seizes reels of different fabric and form with a weight up to 100 kg. When the boom is placed in the reel, the reel is fixed by turning the handle. Rotation of the reel is done manually and almost "weightlessly" because of the unique construction.
The boom is suitable for reels with an inner diameter of 76 mm. An adapter is available in order for the same tool to be handle an inner diameter of either 120 or 150 mm. The boom is also available for 70 mm reels or can be tailored.
The Hovmand reel manipulators are equipped with a swivel arm. The boom is turn able and can be placed in the reel no matter where it is on the pallet.
If you need to handle heavier reels, Hovmand equipment is available for handling up to 200 kg. Reel manipulators are also available with electric boom or in a fully automatic version.

When the boom is placed in the reel, the fastening device is activated and the boom expands automatically and holds the reel. When the dorn is clamping, the indicator lamp is red. When done, the lamp goes green and lifting is possible.
Rotation of the reel is done manually and almost "weightlessly" due to the unique construction.

Egolift - Reel Manipulator – Full electric

When the boom is placed in the reel, the fastening device is activated and the boom expands automatically and holds the reel. When the dorn is clamping, the indicator lamp is red. When done, the lamp goes green and lifting is possible.
Rotation of the reel from vertical to horizontal position or the other way around is done electrically and controlled from the remote control board.
