The Hovmand minilift is used when picking up the subject, turning it and positioning it in the right height. The operator is not strained and the subject is kept in the right position during fitting or mounting. Among others the minilift can handle batteries, fuel tanks, doors and exhaust pipes.

The minilift is also very useful for part mounting. The structure on which the parts are to be fitted is kept in place by the minilift and can be turned and positioned while the parts are fitted.
